Durga idols vandalised in Satkhira
Miscreants have vandalised three idols of Hindu Goddess Durga at a puja mandap on Babolia high school premises in Sadar upazila early Sunday. Babolia High School Sarbojanin Durgapuja Udjapan Committee President Arabinda Mandol said painting of three idols ended in the mandap on Friday night and they covered those with a piece of cloth.

Saudi Arabia immigrant Kamrul Islam has been produced before a Sylhet court in teenager Rajon murder case. The prime accused of the murder case was produced before Sylhet District and Sessions Judges' Court around 11:30am Sunday.

Three burnt in Bangshal factory fire
Three workers have sustained burn injuries in a fire at a shoe factory at Bangshal in the old part of the capital. Injured Robin Hossain, Sujon Mia and Alauddin were admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
