A domestic help who sustained 45% burn injures in an explosion resulting from leak of a gas burner in the capital's Ashkona area, succumbed to her injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
The deceased was identified as Sakina, 45.
Sakina died at the burn unit of the hospital around 3:30am on Thursday, said Muzammel Haque, inspector of DMCH police outpost.
On Sunday, five members of a family including their housemaid Sakina, received burn injuries in a blast resulting from gas burner leakage.
