The ongoing movement of students demanding fresh admission test in the medical colleges is illogical, Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim has said.
The minister said this in reply to a question after receiving the key of an ambulance at the Conference Room of the Health Ministry in the secretariat on Wednesday, reports BSS.
"All the programmes for admission into medical colleges are going on procedurally. They (students) are trying to generate heat unreasonably in the name of movement," he said.
Today is the 19th day of their demonstration following allegations of question paper leakage. The students have been observing a strike in the public universities along with sit-in programme across the country.
Progotishil Chhatra Jote and Samrajjobad Birodhi Chhatra Oikya expressed solidarity with the students.
