The cabinet yesterday approved the drafts of Chittagong Medical University Act-2015 and Rajshahi Medical University Act-2015 for the establishment of two medical universities.
The draft acts were approved in the regular cabinet meeting held at the secretariat with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
Briefing reporters after the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan said the universities would provide post-graduate level studies and bachelor degrees in nursing.
