A suspected robber has been beaten to death by an angy mob at Kushkhali under Chandraganj upazila of Lakshmipur.
The deceased is Nur Hossain, 32, son of Seraj Mia of Gobindapur village in sadar upazila.
Chandraganj police station OC Humayun Kabir said a group of robbers were taking preparation for robbery around 2am Saturday.
"Sensing the matter, locals chased the robbers and caught Nur Hossain while others managed to flee," said the OC.
