Impress Audio Vision has launched a new music album, Sonali Gaan, as a tribute to veteran composer and music director Alauddin Ali. The launching of the album was held at the Channel i premises, on the private TV channel’s 17th founding anniversary.
Shykh Seraj, director and head of news of Channel i, Amjad Hossain, actor and filmmaker, and notable singers and musicians including Syed Abdul Hadi, Sabina Yasmin, Tapon Choudhury, Fuad Naser Babu, Hamin Ahmed and Dinat Jahan Munni were present on the occasion.
Later in the event, Incepta Pharmaceutical Ltd granted Tk2 lacs for Alauddin Ali’s medical treatment, who has been suffering from lung complications for the last few months.
Alauddin Ali is a composer of numerous quintessential Bengali songs and has even won the National Film Award in best music director category for a record of eight times.
This album holds several tracks performed by Sabina Yeasmin, Syed Abdul Hadi, Runa Laila, Subir Nandi, Andrew Kishore and Mitali Mukherjee.
The tracks include Keu kono din amare to kotha dilo na, Soto jonomer sopno amar, Asen amar moktar, Ekbar jodi keu valobasto, Barir manus koi, Bondhu tin din tor barit gelam, Kedo na r kedo na, Vengese pinjor and Harano diner moto.
