Two people have been killed after being sandwiched between a covered van and a bus at Bhogra bypass intersection in Gazipur.
The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.
Naojore highway police outpost Sub-Inspector Bahar Alam said a Tangail-bound covered van collided with a Gazipur-bound bus in the area around 6am Thursday.
A rickshaw puller and a pedestrian were killed after being sandwiched between the two vehicles as after the collision the two vehicles overturned on the road.
On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital.
