3,000 Hajj pilgrims return

Update : 30 Sep 2015, 06:37 PM

A total of 3,000 Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims have returned from Saudi Arabia over the last four days after performing the Hajj.

Assistant Manager (PR) of Biman Bangladesh airlines Tasmin Akter said the national flag carrier has transported all of the pilgrims on seven flights, five of which were dedicated as of yesterday.

Biman management has deployed its Makkah and Madina-based staff to the Jedda Airport hajj terminal to ensure smooth departure for all Bangladeshi pilgrims from Saudi Arabia, she added.

A delay in return Hajj flights is a regular phenomenon of the national flag carrier at the start of the return flights, which began from September 27.
