Police have detained 10 medical admission seekers from different processions brought out protesting the question leak in the capital's Shahbag area to free the road.
DMP Additional Deputy Commissioner (Ramna zone) Ibrahim Khan said that they were compelled to make the detention to ease the tailback as they protesters had disrupted vehicular movement.
They would be released after questioning, Ibrahim Khan went on.

One of the protesters Ramanna Sultana said that the medical admission seekers and the guardians took position on the Central Shaheed Minar premises around 11am and then started moved towards the Shahbagh intersection demanding that the examination result is scrapped.
When they gathered at Shahbagh, the police personnel stopped them and locked in a scuffle with the protesters. "Some of the protesters were taken to the police station while some others susatined injuries," she said.

Later, some students under the banner of Bangladesh Chhatra Front brought out another procession from the Dhaka University campus on the same issue.
