Six member of a family have been burnt in a fire that broke out due to a gas pipeline explosion at a tin-shed house in Kafrul's Senpara area in Dhaka.
The injured are SM Delowar, 45, his wife Saleha Begum, 40, their daughters Ameena Begum, 25, Fatema Begum, 12, son Jahir Hossain, 14, and Ameena's one-year-old son Arman.
Dhaka Medical College Hospital police camp In-charge Mozammel Haque said: “A gas line pipe in their tin-shed house exploded and caught fire around 1:30am Sunday, leaving them injured.”
He said the injured are being treated at the hospital.
Delowar said: “We informed the landlord about the leakage in the gas line pine in our house a several times but they did not pay attention to it.”
