A driver of a covered van has been killed in a road crash in Sreepur of Gazipur.
The deceased was identified as Yusuf Ali, 35, son of Afaz Ali, of Narayanganj.
Maona Highway police station ASI Babul confirmed the death to the Dhaka Tribune.
The incident took place at 4:45am on Tuesday at MC Bazar on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway when its driver lost control over its steering and hit another car parked beside road, leaving the driver dead on the spot, said the police official.
Covered van helper Sheikh Farid was also injured in the incident, he added.
