A woman and her daughter have been killed in a landslide at Majhighora in jalalabad area of Chittagong district.
The deceased are Parvin Akhter and her daughter Sathi.
Chittagong Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner (North) Poritosh Ghosh said: “It has been raining here since the morning. They died in the landslide that took place around 7:15am Monday.”
He said police have been sent to the spot.
