Three people have been killed and at least another four injured when two trucks collided head-on in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur.
Two of them were identified as Yakub Ali of Tangail and Ziaur Rahman Roni of Mymensingh.
The accident took place on Sunday night in Palli Bidyut Crossing area of Sreepur on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway.
Maona Highway OC Helalul Islam said a Dhaka-bound truck rammed into another truck standing on the road around 11pm, leaving two people dead on the spot. Another died on the way to local hospital.
