Admission test results of medical colleges for academic session 2015-16 have been published with a pass rate of 58.4%.
State Minister for Health Zahid Malek has made the announcement around 11:30pm on Sunday.
A total of 48,484 students passed the examination held on Friday. More than 87,000 students appeared in the entrance examinations for the MBBS and BDS courses.

The results are available at www.dghs.gov.bd.
There are 29 public medical colleges having 3,162 seats for MBBS course while 64 private medical colleges have 5,325 seats in total. Besides, nine public dental colleges having 532 seats for BDS course and 24 private dental colleges have 1,280 seats.
Earlier on Saturday, Supreme Court lawyer Younus Ali Akhand sent a legal notice to the government, seeking fresh admission tests for the medical and dental colleges.
Medical admission seekers have been staging demonstrations across the country demanding the cancellation of the test alleging question paper leak.
On September 15, RAB arrested four people – a doctor and a teacher of a coaching centre – for their alleged involvement in question leak, and seized Tk 38,000 in cash and bank cheques for Tk1.2 crore from their possession.
