At least three people have been killed and 20 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in the district's Baraigram upazila.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Monirul Islam, OC of Baraigram police station, said: “A Natore-bound bus of Ekota Paribahan collided head-on with a truck in the upazila around 1:30pm Tuesday, leaving two people dead on the spot.”
“Of the 21injuried, one died on the way to the Upazila Health Complex. Later, 11 people were shifted to Rajshahi and Natore hospitals.”
