Two sisters have allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves from the ceiling at their residence at Durgapur village in Magura sadar upazila.
The deceased are Antora, 17, and Choity, 16, daughters of Forhad Hossain.
Police recovered the bodies on Friday night.
Magura sadar police station OC Asaduzzaman said the reason of the suicide could not be known.
"In a suicide note the two sisters sought apology from their parents," he added.
The police officer said they were investigating the incident.
