September 6 marked Salman Shah’s 19 th death anniversary. A tribute has been paid to this legendary Bangla cinema actor by uploading high quality versions of his films on Youtube. Eagle Music and New Eagle Video, a music label and video producing company, uploaded a high quality video of Keyamot Theke Keyamot, Salman Shah’s debut film, on its channel on Youtube.
Other films starring Salman Shah such as Shujon Shokhi, Jibon Songshar, Ananda Ashru and Prem Juddho have also been placed on the channel’s list.
Kochi Ahmed, the head of Eagle Music and New Eagle Video, said: “We have commercial copyright of these Salman Shah films. Eagle Music and New Eagle Video took the initiative to make these films reach the greater audience. Salman Shah fans can now watch their favourite actor’s film sitting at home, spending no money at all.”
Salman Shah faced an unusual death on September 6 in 1996. Spanning just four years, his short but prolific film career resulted in an outstanding number of films. He worked for twenty seven movies and most of them reached the heights of commercial success.
