Twenty five shops have been gutted in a fire at Charfashion Bazar in Bhola.
Charfashion Fire Service Station Officer Shirajul Hoque Mridha said: “The fire originated from from Bhuiyan Hotel around 2am Monday and soon engulfed the adjacent shops.”
He said two units from the fire station brought the blaze under control with the help of police after an hour of frantic effort.
Charfashion OC Md Anamul Hoque said a loss worth Tk3 crore occurred in the fire.
