Indalo, a rock band from Dhaka, launched their debut album, Kokhon Kibhabe Ekhane Ke Jane on the 5th of September, 2015. The band was born out of musical wedlock of mates Jon and Zubair. Joined by Bart, bassist for Ajob, and Dio (Nemesis) on drums.
The launch and release of Kokhon Kibhabe Ekhane Ke Jane was held at Radius Gallery & Auditorium, Radius Centre, Bay’s Galleria in Gulshan. After the initial launch, the event included album signings, photographs with the band, a brief live performance, and merchandise such as Indalo lockets, leather badges, leather bracelets, t-shirts and art prints. The event was designed and managed by Pretty Shitty Art and catered by The Flourist. Radio Shadhin 92.4 FM were the radio partner for the event.
The album also had an online release on the same date. ME Label holds the online distribution rights to the album.
The album has been recorded and mixed at Acoustic Artz, and mastered from the UK by Tim Debney at Fluid Mastering Studio. CD pressing and manufacturing was done at Disc Makers, from the US, while the album was designed and manufactured locally.
The album acts as a photography book doubling as a CD holder, with typography and signed notes of the band members and more. It holds 13 original tracks by the band: Saké, Olik, Tomar Shokal , Deyalghori, Obosheshe, Plastic, Pounopunik, Pathorer Arale Phool, Antonogor, Canvas, ISD, Oshfut and Ke Shunbe. All lyrics are written by Zubair.
The album release was followed by an umplugged session by the band amidst fans and fellow musicians.
