Update : 03 Sep 2015, 10:09 AM

Two Bangladeshi cattle traders have been injured as Indian Border Security Force (BSF) members shot them at Beurjhari border under Baliadangi upazila in Thakurgaon.

The injured are Kotwal Haque, 35, and Musa, 25. They have been admitted to a hospital in Rangpur.

Thakurgaon 30 BGB Commander Lt Col Tushar Bin Yunus said BSF men opened fire when Kotwal and Musa were returning from India with cattle around 3am Thursday.

Locals said the companions of the injured traders took them to their houses.

Protesting the incident, BGB has sent a letter to BSF for holding a flag meeting.
