Dhaka city commuters have been enduring immense sufferings due to heavy rain and traffic jam.
The roads of the capital city went under water due to torrential rain that began around 11am and continued till 1pm on Tuesday.
People from all walks of life were sufferering much for the inclement weather. The unavailability of vehicles and a long queue of traffic added to the sufferings of the commuters.

The water reached knee-deep or above-knee level in places including Dhanmondi 27, Mirpur, Shanitanagar, Mouchak, Malibagh, Rajarbagh.
The roads saw heavy traffic clogs after the rain that massively slowed down activities in the city.
Commuters were stranded on their way to office or home as the sudden water-logging created traffic congestion in the capital.
According to the Met Department, the rain from 12 pm to 1pm was recorded 42mm.
