A fire has been broken out at Shikalbaha thermal power plant in Patia of Chittagong.
Three units of fire fighters were trying to douse the flame.
Deputy Assistant Director of Agrabad Fire Service Abdul Malek said the fire might have originated at 3:30pm on Sunday from glitches of the machines at the power plant.
Details regarding the fire incident were awaited.
