A two-day international conference on Buddhist heritage will be held in Dhaka in October.
In a briefing, Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon said the conference will take place on October 27 and 28 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry will organise the conference in association with the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
UNWTO Secretary-General Taleb Rifai will attend the conference. Representatives from Myanmar, Bhutan, Thailand, China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia will also attend the conference.
