Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan has said both headquarters of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and Navy police will be set up in Keraniganj in lie of Adi Channel.
He made the statement while briefing media in his ministry on Wednesday afternoon.
The minister said: “The head offices supposed to be built at Adi Channel near the Buriganga river now will be built in Keraniganj.”
He went on that a ten-acre land will be allotted to the RAB while a five-acre for Navy police headquarters.
