To bring her musical contributions back on track, Mila accomplishes another stepping stone in her career by lending her voice to a playback song.
Out-of-the-ordinary to Mila’s usual style, she teamed up with talented musician Habib Wahid, who tuned and composed the song titled “O aakash bole dey.” It’s a female-perspective romantic number, for Bulbul Biswas’s directorial venture “Rajneeti” starring Shakib Khan and Peya Bipasha. Kabir Bakul penned the song for the film, which was recorded last week.
When Habib Wahid asked Mila to lend her voice saying, “this would go perfectly with your voice” she did not hesitate to accept the offer and she fell in love with the lyrics at the studio.
On her very first endeavour with Habib Wahid, Mila said, “Habib and I always wanted to work together but it did not happen earlier. Finally the time has come.”
Currently working on the documentary “Uncensored,” which is based on her musical career, the fusion and folk singer is back with her fourth album after six years. In the 90-minute documentary, many undisclosed tit-bits about her musical life will be shown. The documentary is set to be released before Eid-ul-Azha.
