The much anticipated music video Mon Ghumay Re from Habib Wahid’s new album finally gets a release date sanctioned on August 16. The singer made the announcement via Facebook yesterday saying, “Really excited about it and can’t wait to share it with you all! The music video seems fantastic.”
Habib already unveiled a teaser for the music video which garnered more than 500,000 views on YouTube. In addition, subscribers of telecommunication networks, including Grameenphone and Robi, have been given the opportunity to listen to the track by dailling 3333 a week before its release.
The music video will be uploaded on the Multisourcing Ltd channel on YouTube while the artist’s Facebook followers would recieve the video link on the same day.
The talented singer likes to work with traditional Bengali folk music and contemporary techno beats; Mon Ghumai Re is another example of his love for fusion.
Nabil Khan directed the music video and Studio Hocus Focus handled the production. While Habib is the mastermind behind the composition of the song, the lyrics were written by Zahid Ahmed.
