A 50-year old man has been killed being hit by human hauler, locally know as Nasiman, at Patgati Caurangi under Tungipara upazila in Gopalganj district.
The deceased is identified as Mesbah Uddin Sheikh (50), son of late Kashem Sheikh, of Char Gaohardanga village of the upazila.
OC Md Mahmudul Haq of Tungipara police said Mesbah was severely injured when he was hit by a Nasimon while crossing the road around at 8am on Sunday morning.
At first he was admitted to Tungipara hospital, later in Gopalganj Hospital.
As his condition deteriorated, he was sent to Dhaka. He died around 3pm on the way to Dhaka, the OC said.
