PM: Pass rate falls due to hartal, blockade

Update : 09 Aug 2015, 04:57 AM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said the pass rate in the HSC and its equivalent examinations decreased because of BNP-led alliance enforced hartal and blockade.

She made the statement after Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over a copy of the results at her official residence Ganabhaban on Sunday morning.

The premier, however, expressed hope that the success rate would be higher in future.
