Three members of a family have sustained burn injury in an explosion at their residence at Central Road of Hatirpool in Dhaka.
Injured Fazlur Rahman, 45, his niece Panna Akhtar, 24, and Delwar Hosain, 26, have been admitted to burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
DMCH police outpost In-Charge Mozammel Haque said the injured claimed that the air conditioner of their house exploded around 7:30am Saturday, leaving the three injured.
He, however, said reason of the explosion would be known after investigation.
Partho Sankar Pal, residential surgeon of DMCH burn unit, said: " Fazlur Rahman received 29% burn while Panna 95% and Delwar sustained 4%."
