The land depression, which was created from cyclone Komen on Saturday and was positioned in Noakhali and adjoining areas, became weaker and moved to West Bengal yesterday.
Bangladesh Meteorological Department in its yesterday’s bulletin said light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur in many places of Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Rajshahi today.
Besides, there will be moderately heavy rain in a few places in Rangpur, Dhaka and Sylhet.
