5 killed in Bandarban landslide
Five people have been killed in a landslide in Lama upazila of Bandarban district.
The deceased are Rozeena, 25, Putia, 17, Sazzad, 4, Ameena, 26, and Arafat, 15.
Rain delays start of play on day 3
Rain has delayed the start of play on day 3 of the 2nd Test match between Bangladesh and South Africa.
It has stopped raining at Mirpur. There will be an inspection at 1:30pm.
National flag hoisted at new territories
The national flag of Bangladesh has been hoisted at the new territories at the dawn of the day. After hoisting the flag, local people sang the national anthem of Bangladesh.
The 111 enclaves were added with Bangladesh territory at 12:01am Saturday. Sixty-eight candles, one for each year that the so-called chhitmahals have been in existence, were lit up at the same time across all 111 new territories.

A person has been killed as the wall of a mud house collapsed on him due to the torrential rain at Deuga in Savar municipal area.
The deceased is Toiyob Ali Dewan Naner, 60, of Faridpur.
MH370 search: Plane debris flown out of Reunion
A piece of debris that experts believe could be from missing flight MH370 has been flown out of the French island where it was found on Wednesday.
The object, believed to be part of a wing, left Reunion in the Indian Ocean on a flight to Paris on Friday evening.
7 Libyan soldiers killed in clashes with IS
Seven Libyan soldiers were killed on Friday when Islamic State militants stormed a checkpoint manned by forces loyal to the official government, military officials said.
Five soldiers were killed and 15 have been missing since the Islamic State fighters attacked the checkpoint outside the eastern town of Ajdabiya, near the oil port of Brega, one military official said. Two more soldiers were killed when the government sent reinforcements. Five were wounded.
Zimbabwe calls for extradition of Cecil the lion's killer
The American dentist who killed Cecil the lion was a "foreign poacher" who paid for an illegal hunt and he should be extradited to Zimbabwe to face justice, environment minister Oppah Muchinguri said on Friday.
In Harare's first official comments since Cecil's killing grabbed world headlines this week, Muchinguri said the Prosecutor General had started the process to have 55-year-old Walter Palmer extradited from the United States.
