A Bangladeshi migrant has been hacked to death by unknown miscreants in South Africa.
The deceased is Md Azizur Rahman Rumel, 30, son of Md Shamsul Hoque of Paschim Maijdee village under Noakhali Sadar Upazila.
Sumon, younger brother of the victim, said: “Rumel worked for a hotel in Rustenburg city of South Africa for last 11 years. On Friday (July 24) some miscreants entered his workplace and hacked my brother to death.
“His body reached home around 2am Thursday and he was buried at our family graveyard in the morning.”
Family members and members of local administration could not provide any detailed information in this regard.
