A woman and two children have been killed in a boat capsize in Vera Mohana swamp (haor) at Shalla of Sunamganj.
The deceased are Sabrina Akter, 26, Sabrina, 5, and Preety, 3.
Confirming the death, Shalla police station OC Md Anisur Rahman said: "Four people were going to Chanpur village on a small boat from Ajmiriganj of Habiganj district."
He said the boat capsized due to strong waves when it reached Vera Mohona Haor.
Later, locals recovered the bodies and the capsized boat.
