The body of one of the two college students, who went missing while bathing in the Piain River at tourist spot Jaflong on Wednesday, was recovered friday night.
Police said the body of Abdullah Antar, 18, an HSC first year student of Kabi Nazrul College and son of M Sanaullah of Wari in the capital, had been fished out by the locals around 9:30pm.
His friend Sohagh Ghosh, 17, still remains missing.
The duo and four of their friends went to Jaflong to spend their Eid holiday. All of them were bathing in the river around 3pm on Wednesday when the duo drowned.
