At least four people have been killed and six others injured when a covered van collided head-on with a human hauler in the city.
Of the deceased three were identified as Leguna driver Saidur, 24, his helper Moni, 26, and Sohel Mia, 30.
Nowjor Highway police outpost In-Charge Bahar Alam said: “The collision occurred near Nowjor intersection around 7:30am Friday, leaving three people dead on the spot and seven others injured.
“The injured were taken to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital where Sohel died while undergoing treatment.”
