The National Moon Sighting Committee will sit Friday evening to fix the date of Eid ul-Fitr.
Religious Affairs Minister Principal Matiur Rahman, also chairman of the National Moon Sighting Committee, will preside over the meeting at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque complex in the city at 7:30pm.
After reviewing reports of sighting the Shawwal moon from across the country, the committee will fix the date of Eid ul-Fitr, reported BSS.
