Md Abdur Razzaque, member of the NBR, and Md Alamgir Hossain, director of Central Intelligence Cell, were elected president and secretary general of Bangladesh Civil Service (Taxation) Association for the next two years.
Their Annual General Meeting and executive council election in the city recently.
Tax Commissioners Sanjit Kumar Biswas, Md Sultan Mahmud and Md Meftah Uddin Khan were made vice-presidents of the body.
Other office-bearers are NBR’s Deputy Tax Commissioner Md Jehad Uddin, Joint Commissioners Fazley Ahad Kaiser, Shabbir Ahmed, Al Mamun, Md Sarwar Hossain Chowdhury and Syed Zakir Hossain; Deputy Tax Commissioners Masuma Khatun and Md Shafiul Azam; Joint Commissioner Nurul Amin; and Assistant Commissioners Md Golam Kibria, Monalisa Shahrin Shushmita and Md Farukul Islam.
