A minor boy was strangulated to death allegedly by his father at Char Dorshanpara village in Poba upazila Saturday morning.
The deceased is Adnan Hossain, 6, son of Jasim Uddin.
Jasim suffocated his son to death with a pillow following a family feud in the early morning at his house, said Monowar Hossain, sub-inspector of Poba police station.
On information, police recovered the body and arrested Jasim from the house.
During preliminary interrogation, Jasim confessed to his guilt, added the SI.
