A fire has broken out at Karnafuli Garden City shopping mall in capital's Kakrail.
The fire originated from a food shop on third floor of the mall around 9am Saturday.
Fire service control room duty officer Monir Hossain told the Dhaka Tribune that seven units of fire fighters took the fire under control around 9:30am.
However, the cause of the fire and extent of damage could not be known immediately.
