Two separate committees have been formed to investigate the stampede incident in Mymensingh town that claimed the lives of at least 24 people.
Quoting Mymensingh Deputy Commissioner Mustakim Billah Faruqui, BSS reported that a one-member committee was formed to probe the incident.
On the other hand, police constituted a three-member body to investigate the incident.
Police arrested eight people including Shamim, owner of Nuranee Jorda Factory, in this connection.
