A Dhaka court has granted three days remand for two suspects for their alleged involvement in the killing of a college girl in Mirpur.
The two are victim's stepbrother Robin, 24, and the guard of the building, Md Milon, 42.
Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Court granted the police remand after the duo were produced before the court with a 10-day remand plea on Friday afternoon.
Sub-Inspector Md Arefin Siddique of Mirpur Model police station, also investigation officer of the case, said victim Amena Khatun Reshma's mother Mariom Begum filed a murder case with the police station on Thursday late night.
Police freed Rashma's mother and father after interrogating them and arrested the two on Thursday afternoon.
Reshma was hacked to death in her apartment on Thursday afternoon when none of her parents were present at home.
