The results of the second merit list for college admission for the academic session 2015-16 have been published on the ministry website.
The results are available on the ministry website www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd from on Monday evening.
The second merit list was published on the basis of the number of seats remaining in colleges after students of the first lot ware enrolled.
Some 17,647 students were selected on basis of the second merit list and they will have to get admitted into their chosen colleges on Tuesday and Wednesday, Dhaka Education Board chairman Prof Abu Bakar Siddique told UNB over phone.
Besides, those who failed to get enrolled in any college can apply for admission into 10 colleges on July 9-10.
A total of 10,93,374 students were selected for admission on the basis of first merit list.
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, in a statement said students on the first merit list would be able to be admitted to college by June 29-30 and July 1-2 without paying any late fees.
Earlier on June 29, the results of the first merit list for college admission for the academic session 2015-16 have been published.
The results were scheduled to be published on June 25. Later, the authorities changed the date several times due to technical glitches..
A total of 11.56 lakh students applied for college enrollment, which has been based on results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations of the past few years.
