Four people have been killed as a bus hit an auto-rickshaw in Kostapara area on Dhaka-Tangail-Bangabandhu bridge highway.
Of the deceased, two were identified as auto-rickshaw driver Kabir, 38, and Abdul Aziz, son of Abdul Malek.
Highway police Alenga outpost In-charge Sergeant Kamruzzaman Raj told the Dhaka Tribune that the accident took place around 9:30am Friday.
He said police recovered the bodies and sent those to Tangail Medical College Hospital.
Two of the injured are in critical condition, said the official.
