At least 50 people have been injured in a clash between two groups of people at Kashipur village under Habiganj sadar upazila.
Of the injured, 20 were admitted to Habiganj sadar hospital.
Habiganj model police station OC Mohammad Nazim Uddin said Ali Islam and Badrul Alam of Kashipur village had longstanding dispute over establishing supremacy.
Following the dispute, both the groups locked in a clash equipped with locally-made weapons that left at least 50 injured.
Being informed, police rushed to the spot and took the situation under control.
