Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Anwar Group of Industries for cooperation on any dispute resolution using ADR methods.
The Signing Ceremony was held at the Head Office of Anwar Group in the capital on Tuesday.
Mahbubur Rahman, Chairman, BIAC and Manwar Hossain, Group Managing Director, Anwar Group of Industries signed the MOU on behalf of their respective organizations.
Anwar Hossain Chairman and Hossain Khaled Director of Anwar Group of Industries, who is also the current President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI), were present at the signing ceremony.
The MOU will provide a framework to facilitate resolution of contractual and commercial disputes (if arises) of Anwar Group of Industries and its affiliated companies using ADR methods- namely Arbitration and Mediation, through expertise services of BIAC.
