A minor boy has been injured in crude bomb blast at the capital’s Middle Badda.
The victim was identified as Rabiul Hasan, 11, son of Faruk Hasan, hailed from Raninagar of Naogaon.
One Arif, neighbour of Rabiul, said: “Several children were playing in the playground near Wasif Factory lane in the area at 11:30am.”
“During the time, Rabiul noticed a red ball-like object lying on the ground. The crude bomb exploded as soon as he touched it, leaving his face and eyes injured.”
Later, he was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, added Arif.
