A construction worker has been electrocuted and another injured while they were working in a masjid at Anwara upazila in Chittagong.
The deceased was identified as Md Ramjan, 27, son of Md Sentu, hailing from Chapainawabganj district, said Sub-Inspector (SI) Jahirul Islam of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost.
The injured Md Shahdat was admitted at the hospital, added the SI.
SI Jahir said the duo were came in touch under a live electric wire while they were working at Chaturi-Chowmuhuny Ismail Jame Masjid’s wall at around 10am Wednesday, leaving them injured.
They were whisked off at CMCH where the on duty doctors declared Ramjan dead, said the SI.
