Two people have been crushed under the wheels of a train near Joydebpur police station in Gazipur town.
The identities of the deceased could not be ascertained yet.
Joydebpur Railway Junction Outpost Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Dadon Mia said: “A septuagenarian man and a teenage girl were crushed under Dhaka-bound Jamuna Express around 7am Wednesday.”
He said their bodies were recovered and sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 8am.
