AirAsia to resume flights from July 10

AirAsia, a Malaysian based low-cost airliner, is going to resume its Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur flights from 10 July to further enhance the airline’s connectivity between Bangladesh and Malaysia. 

As part of its inaugural flight, AirAsia has announced a promotional fare of Tk22,499 (including tax).

Sadi Abdullah, managing director of Total Air services Limited (TAS) came up with the disclosure while speaking at a press conference at a restaurant in the capital yesterday. TAS is the General sales agent (GSA) in Bangladesh of the airlines. 

KM Mozibul Hoque, chairman of TAS, Sheikh Mamun, vice chairman of TAS also attended the press conference.  

Initially, AirAsia will operate daily flight in Dhaka-Kua Lumpur route.

The number of flights will be increased on market demand. 

Asia had earlier launched Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur flight in 2010, which suspended stopped after an one-year operation. 

AirAsia group operates scheduled domestic and international flights to 129 destinations spanning 22 countries.

The company was established in 1994.
