Two sub-inspectors of police have been injured in an attack by a group of robbers at Monohardi in Narsingdi.
Injured SI Tanvir Ahmed, 30, and SI Ashraful Haque, 30, were admitted to Rajarbagh Police Hospital.
Police also detained two robbers -- Iqbal Hossain, 30, and Saiful Islam, 30 -- from the spot.
Monohardi police OC Alamgir Hossain said a group of 10 to 15 robbers robbed money and valuables from two houses at Chalakchar union of Monohardi upazila from 1:30am to 3am Friday.
Being informed, police and locals chased the robbers and caught two of them.
Meanwhile, the robbers stabbed SI Tanvir Ahmed and Ashraful Haque.
